Learn To Lead (Indoors)

Ready to take the next step?

Learn to Lead is designed for climbers who are ready to progress from top rope to lead climbing. Over two sessions, you'll learn the fundamentals of safe indoor lead climbing, including clipping techniques, lead belaying, and how to recognise and manage the risks associated with lead climbing.

By the end of the course, you'll have the knowledge and practical skills needed to become a confident and competent indoor lead climber.

Perfect for

• Intermediate and advanced climbers ready to transition to lead climbing

Includes

• Two 2-hour sessions
• Comprehensive instruction in indoor lead climbing and lead belaying

Prerequisites

• Participants must be 16 years of age or older
• Ground Up top rope belay certification
• At least three months of top rope climbing experience
• Comfortable climbing 5.9 on top rope
